I write a short brief that captures what needs to be done, what success looks like, and a rough time estimate.

Engagement

Fixed-price or weekly retainer, depending on scope. Weekly written updates. No surprises.

Handoff

Documentation, knowledge transfer, and a clean handoff. I leave things better than I found them.
